Mike Blanchard, a central-Iowa native, is the founder and owner of Vision Electric & Plumbing, LLC.

By the age of 25, Mike knew that he wanted to start his own company. 

 

Vision Electric & Plumbing opened its doors in the Spring of 2001 with contracts to wire and plumb 50 three-barn finisher sites in Northern Iowa. Due in part to the Core Values that are shared by the Leadership Team and employees, the company has steadily grown and has offices in both Iowa and Nebraska.

Vision Electric & Plumbing began as an Agricultural Electrical Contractor and has steadily grown to also include Commercial Electrical Contracting and Industrial Electrical Contracting as well as Underground Utilities and Plumbing.

Vision Electric & Plumbing is on track for continued expansion and is currently looking to open a third branch in South Dakota. This growth, in turn, gives Vision's employees the chance to grow their careers alongside the company.
